Mad Day Out session, Cavendish Avenue, 28 July 1968
Tom Murray: “Paul was sat with his dog Martha in the dome in his back garden. When we pulled up outside his house there were seven or eight girls waiting by the door and when they saw all the boys turn up they went hysterical and started crying and screaming. Paul was the perfect host. He was very polite and made us a cup of tea and offered the biscuits around. He posed for this shot. It was just Paul, Ringo, the dog and myself in the room. All the others were in a different room and as the dog looked one way and Ringo the other, I snapped. I only took one or two frames. Why take ten when one will do?”

happy 78th birthday sir ringo starr! ♡ [ july 7, 1940 - ]
in the town where i was born
lived a man who sailed to sea
and he told us of his life
in the land of submarines
so we sailed up to the sun
till we found a sea of green
and we lived beneath the waves
in our yellow submarine

A cute, perfect Richard with his beautiful, sexy
and fucking stronglegs somewhere in 1964.
Happy Birthday Maureen, who was born on 4th August 1946. These photos were taken at Sunny Heights on the 4th August 1967*, Maureen’s 21st birthday. The little boy is of course Zak and Maureen is pregnant with Jason (who would be born on the 19th August 1967).
(* Another source gives the date of these photos as 16th August, 1967, but I believe it’s more likely to be the 4th. In another dispute of the date, the photos may have been taken July 1967 and only published on the 4th August to celebrate Mo’s 21st).
